Basics and

Initial Voice

The
first voice enrollment and training required by
the program. In this step, the user creates
a user name, sets up the microphone, runs the
audio setup wizard and then reads one or more
training passages presented by the program. |

3.
Basic Dictation

Some of
the most essential information to get started with
dictation. In this stage, users learn how to
dictate line-by-line sentences for a visual
representation of the text being placed on the
page. In this section, some basic exercises
for practice are presented in online forms.
Links are provided to line-by-line sentences and
longer paragraphs for copying. In addition,
a form with a blank area is provided for creative
writing dictation. These forms can be filled
in with voice and printed out.
A list of basic
commands is provided as part of a structured
curriculum to ensure that users learn the most
essential commands for basic dictation.

ultimate goal and outcome of learning how to use
speech recognition is to improve your performance
and productivity in terms of text entry and
overall computer use. Once the basic
training in terms of how the program works, how to
dictate and use commands has been achieved,
integration into your real life school or work
environment is the final step.

essential. This stage presents steps to
using speech recognition in many of the major
applications and functions that people use in
their work and school environments..
