The first horses that were tamed and domesticated, then put to work for man,

was around 5000 years ago, in a country we know today as Ukraine, in Europe.

Early people used horses for many tasks like farm work, transportation,

hauling logs, plowing fields and various kinds of other chores.

They were also used in war times, for rounding up cattle and countless other uses.

We would never have progressed as much as we have

without the remarkable and willing horse.
